Official: Karim Adeyemi Completes Barcelona Move

Barcelona have officially announced the signing of German forward Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at the Catalan club until the summer of 2031.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona will pay an initial fee of €22 million, with a further €7 million in performance-related bonuses included in the agreement.
Adeyemi joined Borussia Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in 2022 in a deal worth €30 million. During his four seasons at Signal Iduna Park, he made 146 appearances across all competitions, scoring 36 goals and providing 25 assists, establishing himself as one of the Bundesliga club's most dangerous attacking players.
At international level, Karim Adeyemi has earned 11 caps for Germany, scoring once. However, he was left out of the squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Notably, the winger made his senior international debut under current Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick, a reunion that could play an important role as he begins the next chapter of his career at Camp Nou.
