Bayern Munich are facing growing concern over the health of Jamal Musiala after the Germany international suffered another apparent collapse during a friendly against Heidenheim. The 23-year-old midfielder came off the bench in the 61st minute but was forced to leave the pitch just minutes later after feeling unwell.

Musiala's teammates quickly surrounded him and shielded him from the cameras while medical staff attended to the player. The incident was particularly worrying because it was the second time in just three days that the Bayern Munich star had gone down on the pitch. A similar episode occurred during Saturday's match against RB Leipzig.

The developments have raised serious concerns at the Munich club with the start of the new Bundesliga season approaching. Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl acknowledged that the club is fully aware of the situation and is awaiting further information.

"Jamal will tell you all about it soon. We are aware of the situation and fully conscious of it," Max Eberl said.

Jamal Musiala is now undergoing medical examinations, with Bayern Munich waiting for the doctors' assessment before deciding on the next steps.
