Official: Ayoub Bouadd Joins Manchester City

Manchester City have officially announced the signing of 18-year-old Morocco international midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi from French club Lille. The highly rated youngster has agreed a contract with the Premier League champions that will keep him at the Etihad until 2031.
Ayoub Bouaddi has already established himself as one of the most promising young midfielders in European football. He regularly featured in the starting XI for Lille last season before making a strong impression at the FIFA World Cup, where he played a key role in Morocco's run to the quarter-finals.
At Manchester City, Bouaddi is expected to become an important part of the club's midfield rebuild following the departure of Rodri and several other players. His technical ability, maturity and versatility have made him a major long-term investment for the Premier League giants.
The transfer is worth €95 million up front, with a further €5 million available in performance-related bonuses, taking the potential total to €100 million. That makes Ayoub Bouaddi the most expensive player under the age of 20 in Premier League history.
