Inter Milan claimed a convincing 2-0 victory over Como, offering their supporters some consolation following their recent defeat in the Milan derby. The Nerazzurri took the lead when Francesco Pio Esposito finished off a precise cross from Jed Spence after an excellent team move.

Marcus Thuram then doubled Inter's advantage, capitalising on a defensive mistake before guiding the ball into the net from close range.

Como, who arrived on the back of a commanding Champions League victory, tried to get back into the contest through Nico Paz. However, his effort struck the woodwork, denying the visitors a route back into the game.

The result marked Inter's 12th consecutive Serie A victory over Como.
