Mykhailo Mudryk

A new twist has emerged in the doping case involving Mykhailo Mudryk. According to sources cited by TaToTake, the positive doping test was likely conducted while the winger was with Chelsea, not the Ukrainian national team.

The report claims that no players from the Ukrainian squad were subjected to doping tests following their Nations League matches in October and November. This suggests Mudryk did not undergo any testing during that period. His last recorded test came in August, while at Chelsea, yielding a negative result. The location and context of the alleged positive result remain unclear.

In the coming days, the "B" sample of the positive test will be opened, which will provide a definitive answer on whether banned substances were present in Mudryk’s system. Should the second test confirm the initial findings, Mudryk could face a suspension of up to four years.
