Mikhailo Spivakovsky has debunked rumors regarding the results of Mykhailo Mudryk’s second doping test

Ukrainian journalist Mikhailo Spivakovsky has debunked rumors regarding the results of Mykhailo Mudryk’s second doping test. Speaking to the VZBIRNA YouTube channel, Spivakovsky clarified that there is no official confirmation of a negative result for the Chelsea winger.

Last week, reports on Twitter claimed that Mudryk’s second doping sample had returned negative, suggesting he could soon return to action for Chelsea. However, Spivakovsky stated, “I spoke to someone close to Mudryk. The news are fake. There is no information about the results of sample B being announced.”

In December it was announced, that the Ukrainian international tested positive for the banned substance meldonium following a doping test conducted after a national team match in November. If the second sample also tests positive, Mudryk could face a suspension of up to four years.
