Bruno Fernandes added another chapter to his remarkable journey by converting two penalties during Manchester United’s second-leg victory over Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League. The Portuguese playmaker’s 9th and 10th spot-kicks in the competition make him the all-time leading penalty scorer in Europa League history.

After the match, United manager Rúben Amorim offered insight into the midfielder’s mindset: “He struggles sometimes because he wants to win so badly—maybe too much. We need to help him lift trophies, because he truly deserves it.”

With this latest display, Bruno Fernandes now boasts 12 goals and 12 assists in all competitions for Manchester United this season.
