UEFA has revealed its official Europa League Team of the Season

UEFA has revealed its official Europa League Team of the Season, and it’s headlined by none other than Cristian Romero — the defensive linchpin of Tottenham Hotspur.

The Argentine centre-back was not only included in the team but also honoured as the UEFA Europa League Player of the Season. His commanding performances throughout the campaign have earned him top billing in a star-studded XI.

Spurs, who impressed in their deep run in the competition, saw four players selected overall. Joining Romero in the elite squad are goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, full-back Pedro Porro, and striker Dominic Solanke, who delivered key goals during the knockout rounds.

Manchester United, the runners-up in this year’s competition, are represented by midfield stalwarts Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes, both of whom played pivotal roles in United’s road to the final.
