Barcelona Thrash FC Seoul 7–3 in Asia Tour Clash
Barcelona lit up their second match of the Asia Tour with an emphatic 7–3 victory over FC Seoul, showcasing both flair and firepower in front of a packed South Korean crowd.
Hansi Flick, overseeing his second game in charge of the Spanish champions, opted for a near full-strength lineup. New signing Joan García started in goal, behind a back four of Alejandro Balde, Pau Cubarsí, Ronald Araújo, and Jules Koundé. The midfield trio featured Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, and Dani Olmo, while the attack was led by Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and rising star Lamine Yamal.
Despite some early defensive lapses that allowed Seoul to level the score at 2–2, Barcelona’s class quickly rose to the surface. The turning point came in first-half stoppage time when Lamine Yamal produced a moment of magic: controlling a lofted ball with a silky first touch and slotting it past the keeper in the 45+3rd minute — a goal that set the tone for the second-half rout.
The Catalan giants dominated the remainder of the match, scoring five unanswered goals.
