Real Madrid wrapped up their 2025/26 La Liga season with an entertaining 4-2 victory over Athletic Club at the Santiago Bernabéu, delivering the perfect send-off for departing head coach Álvaro Arbeloa.

In what proved to be Arbeloa’s final match in charge of the Spanish giants, Real Madrid produced an attacking display full of intensity and flair, much to the delight of the home supporters.

Rising forward Gonzalo García opened the scoring before Jude Bellingham once again demonstrated his influence in midfield with another crucial goal. Superstars Kylian Mbappé and Brahim Díaz also found the net as Los Blancos overwhelmed their opponents in a lively contest.

Athletic Club still posed problems going forward, with both Gorka Guruzeta and Iseta getting on the scoresheet for the visitors, but the Basque side could not stop Real Madrid from ending the season on a winning note.
