Lamine Yamal Named La Liga Player of the Season

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has been crowned La Liga Player of the Season for the first time in his career. The prestigious award changes hands within the Barcelona dressing room, with Yamal succeeding teammate Raphinha, who claimed the honour in the previous campaign.
The winger has become the youngest player ever to win the La Liga Player of the Season award since its introduction in the 2008-09 season, surpassing the previous record held by Jude Bellingham, who received the accolade at nearly 21 years of age.
His individual numbers were equally impressive. Across 28 La Liga appearances, Lamine Yamal scored 16 goals and provided 11 assists, combining elite creativity with clinical finishing to help drive Barcelona to another successful campaign.
