Barcelona Brush Aside Getafe to Keep Pressure on Real Madrid

Barcelona continued their strong form in La Liga with a commanding 3-0 win over Getafe at the Camp Nou, keeping the heat on leaders Real Madrid in the early title race.

Ferran Torres was the star of the show, netting a first-half brace as Barça took full control. Dani Olmo added a third after the break, finishing coolly following a pinpoint assist from Marcus Rashford on the right flank — his first league assist for the Catalan giants.

By half-time, the scoreline read 2-0 and the result was all but settled. Flick’s side dominated every department — controlling possession, launching sharp counterattacks, and keeping their shape defensively.

Getafe attempted to disrupt the rhythm with their usual aggressive and physical style, but it backfired. Their time-wasting tactics and scrappy fouls only gave Barcelona more space to exploit — and the home side punished them clinically.
