Real Sociedad - Sevilla 2:1

Real Sociedad, led by inspirational captain Mikel Oyarzabal, claimed a long-awaited and vital victory over Sevilla in San Sebastián. After a tense and scrappy first half, the hosts regrouped and delivered a far more composed performance after the break.

Oyarzabal was the hero of the night, scoring twice to secure a 2–0 win and once again proving why he remains the beating heart of this Real Sociedad side. His leadership and composure in front of goal made the difference in a match where every moment counted.

Sergio Francisco’s men showed resilience and tactical discipline in the closing stages, holding firm to preserve the crucial result. The win marks only Sociedad’s second victory of the season — both coming at the Reale Arena — but it carries enormous importance. With these three points, the Basque club climb out of the relegation zone and into 15th place on nine points, giving their supporters renewed hope for the campaign ahead.
