The Ukrainian winger opened his season account in the first half, converting a precise assist from Gil. Tsygankov’s goal proved decisive, sealing just Girona’s second win of the current campaign.

The 26-year-old was substituted in the 85th minute after an energetic performance on the right flank. Fellow Ukrainian Vladyslav Vanat also started the match, contributing 70 solid minutes before being replaced.
