FIFA has unveiled the eleven nominees for the Puskás Award 2025, an annual honour presented for the best goal scored in men’s football between 11 August 2024 and 2 August 2025.

Among the headline contenders are Lamine Yamal for his stunning strike against Espanyol, and Declan Rice, nominated for his sensational long-range effort against Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

The shortlist showcases a truly global spread of talent. Alongside Yamal and Rice, the list features Aleerrandro, Alessandro Deiola, Pedro De La Vega, Santiago Montiel, Amr Nasser, Carlos Orrantia, Lucas Ribeiro, Rizky Ridho and Kevin Rodriguez — a diverse group whose goals lit up pitches across multiple continents.
