AC Milan claimed a memorable 3-1 victory over fierce rivals Inter Milan in the latest edition of the Derby della Madonnina, extending their winning streak to four consecutive derby victories. The result also handed Inter their first defeat of the current Serie A campaign.

The standout performer was Diego Moreira, who played a decisive role in all three of Milan’s goals. The Portuguese winger made an immediate impact, setting up Christian Pulisic for the opening goal in the early stages of the contest.

Moreira continued to torment Inter’s defence, providing another precise assist for Adrien Rabiot to find the net. After helping Milan establish their advantage, he took matters into his own hands in the second half, producing a superb free-kick to put the result beyond doubt.
