Dynamo head coach Mircea Lucescu spoke about the match against Dnipro-1 (0:1):

- It's just incredible to lose such matches. We had many opportunities to score, but we made mistakes that even 10-year-old players don't make.

It's hard to start a game with such gross mistakes. Dnipro-1 has a good team: good defense, good attack, professional players. We dominated, created many chances, but our current players are not in the condition to withstand the pressure, they were not angry enough to win against Dnipro-1.

The problem is that we lost 11 key players who were leaders and key elements of the team. We have young players now, 5-6 players without experience. They still need to learn and improve their abilities. I have to rebuild the team with new players in mind.

The problem is me. It is my fault that I was not able to build a new team in such a short period of time that could stand up to other opponents. We were unlucky when we lost Yarmolenko, who helped a lot, we lost Shaparenko, today was Popov's first game, Karavaev was also disqualified. Today our players did not show the level we wanted.

We are creating a new team, I cannot blame the guys for not wanting to fight, but today we made many serious mistakes, in which everyone is guilty: Vyvcharenko, and Syrota, and even Bushchan. But I do not absolve myself of responsibility. What we missed isn't such a big deal. The problem is that we couldn't score.
