Shakhtar defender Yukhym Konoplia shared his impressions of the first training session with Marino Pusic.

– Positive impressions. I liked the coach from the first minutes, he made it clear that he believes in us, wants to reveal our potential and take the team to a new level.

– The coach cannot make certain adjustments due to lack of time, how will you act tomorrow?
– Of course, he will not fundamentally change anything in such a short period of time, but he can point out the opponents’ weaknesses and help take advantage of them.

– Are the coach's requirements already clear?
– The new coach explained what he wants from us and what playing model he will build. Everyone liked it, the boys are happy that we will play the football we like.

– You stayed with the coach on the field after the training session. What were you talking about and what is the atmosphere in the team?
– There is a great atmosphere in the team. After the session, the coach showed me a play moment and said he would show it to us later.
