Pulisic Shines Through Fever as AC Milan Complete Dramatic Comeback in Turin

Torino - AC Milan 2:3

Against all odds — and with a high fever — Christian Pulisic delivered a heroic performance, scoring twice to lead AC Milan to a thrilling 3–2 victory over Torino. His brace cancelled out an early double from Adrien Rabiot, keeping the Rossoneri level with Napoli at the top of the Serie A table. The win, however, was overshadowed by an injury to Rafael Leão, who was forced off during the match.

Milan entered the game under pressure after suffering their first defeat of the season — a narrow 0–1 loss to Lazio in the Coppa Italia. Pulisic wasn’t even expected to feature, staying away from training due to illness, but joined the squad on matchday with both Santiago Giménez and Zachary Atekem still unavailable.

Torino made a dream start. First, Fikayo Tomori conceded a penalty that Nikola Vlašić confidently converted. Minutes later, a quick transition sparked by Adrien Tamèze allowed Duván Zapata to double the lead — his first goal in over a year following a long injury layoff.

But Milan refused to fold. Pulisic, despite looking visibly unwell, injected urgency into every attack and combined brilliantly with Rabiot to flip the match on its head. His composure in front of goal and relentless work rate transformed what looked like a disastrous night into a statement victory for the Rossoneri.
