The dream of the outstanding Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has come true - he became an Olympic champion.

In the final match Novak met with his most important opponent in recent times - Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. Djokovic managed to win two tiebreakers and won – 7:6, 7:6.

For Djokovic, this is the first Olympic gold medal in his career. Before that, he was a bronze medalist at the 2008 Games.
