Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly considering further job cuts within the club

The co-owner of Manchester United, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is reportedly considering further job cuts within the club, according to BBC. Sources reveal that this move is seen as inevitable, as the club has lost nearly £300 million over the past three years.

The upcoming round of layoffs is expected to affect between 100 and 200 Manchester United employees. While it's still unclear who will be let go, when it will happen, and which departments will be affected, Ratcliffe plans to make a final decision within two weeks.

Manchester United could also close its office in Kensington, London, although club officials are adamant that they will maintain a presence in the capital for marketing and sales purposes to global partners.

Previously, Ratcliffe's company, Ineos, had already made cuts, including laying off 250 staff members, removing Sir Alex Ferguson's paid ambassador role, and ending the policy of free travel for staff to finals.
