Obolon head coach Valery Ivashchenko summed up the UPL 11th round match against Zorya.

– We tried to equalize the score after conceding a goal. We did it and then we scored another one. However, the lack of experience in confronting an opponent who competes in the European arena was noticeable. Zorya is a good team - such a team does not forgive the mistakes that we made.

We try to shoot on goal whenever possible - Sukhanov scored from a distance. In general, we still had some good moments that could have turned the tide of the match. However, as I already said, Zorya is an experienced team and it used its chances to score.

The opponent’s class was very noticeable. They have experience performing internationally. This is what gave Zorya an advantage, and what our guys don’t have yet. However, there is nothing to blame them for; they tried. We draw conclusions and move on to the other matches.
