Tottenham - Crystal Palace 1:3

Tottenham Hotspur’s struggles in the Premier League continued as the North London side slipped to a disappointing 1–3 defeat against Crystal Palace at home in Matchweek 29..

The hosts struck first in the 34th minute when Dominic Solanke found the back of the net, giving Tottenham Hotspur an early advantage and briefly lifting the mood inside the stadium. But the momentum shifted dramatically soon after. Defender Micky van de Ven was shown a red card, leaving Spurs a man down and inviting pressure from the visitors.

Crystal Palace capitalised almost immediately. The Eagles were awarded a penalty, which Ismaila Sarr confidently converted to level the score and swing the psychological balance firmly in Palace’s favour.

The decisive blow came just before the interval. Deep into first-half stoppage time, Crystal Palace produced a devastating burst: first Jørgen Strand Larsen fired the visitors ahead, before Ismaila Sarr struck again moments later to complete his brace and give Palace a commanding lead heading into the break.

The second half brought little relief for the home side. Despite their efforts, Tottenham Hotspur failed to mount a comeback, while Crystal Palace managed the game effectively to secure all three points.
