Italy's Roberto Mancini praised the young players for their perfomance in a Nation League game against Germany.

"We were a bit naïve in conceding the equaliser immediately after our goal. It's a shame. It wasn't an easy game especially at the beginning but then we did well. I'm happy for the lads. They were good against a great national team.

We have to think about our team. We have good young players, we hope they grow up quickly. The road is very long. Germany are strong. We suffered at the beginning because we were hesitant. Then we started playing and we did it very well".
