Jaroslav Šilhavý, Czech Republic coach, speaking to Česká televize about his team's perfomance in a game against Spain.

"We played a better match than in Prague. We played higher, braver, but could not take one of our chances. After the second goal, it was really difficult."

"We pressed Spain well and got chances but at the same time it was risky that gaps would appear in our defence that Spain would use. As time went on, tiredness played a part."

“We know the strength of the Spain team and their football and, having seen the full stands tonight, we knew they could press us even more. I was surprised by the activity of my lads. We played with courage and it was a shame we couldn’t finish our chances.”
