Dnipro-1 failed to successfully complete the group stage of the Conference League, having suffered a defeat in the final match against AZ Alkmaar. Ukrainian team answered Odgor's quick goal with Dovbik's strike at the end of the first half, however the Dutch managed to get their winning goal with only three minutes remaining.

Yet this defeat did not change the standings of Dnipro-1 in any way - the leaders of the UPL advanced to the playoffs of the Conference League from the second place.
