Sports Director of the Shakhtar Darijo Srna was named team's caretaker coach after the sacking of Patrick van Leeuwen. Croatian manager will prepare the club for the upcoming games.

Darijo Srna is a former defender of Shakhtar Donetsk and one of the best players in team's history. He has won numerous trophies during his time at Shakhtar, including a UEFA Cup title in 2009, seven Ukrainian Premier League titles, five Ukrainian Cup titles and five Ukrainian Super Cup titles.
