Slavia Praha - Barcelona 2:4

Barcelona brought an end to their poor run of form with an entertaining 4–2 away victory over Slavia Prague, but the positive result in the UEFA Champions League came at a significant cost as concerns grew over the fitness of midfield star Pedri.

The hosts started aggressively in Prague and were rewarded early on. Just 10 minutes into the contest, Slavia took the lead from a corner kick, catching the visitors off guard and setting the tone for a high-tempo opening.

Barcelona responded with authority. Fermin Lopez emerged as the unlikely hero of the first half, scoring twice to turn the game on its head and restore control for the Catalan giants. However, drama followed just before the interval when misfortune struck. Under pressure in his own box, Robert Lewandowski inadvertently diverted the ball into his own net, sending the teams into the break level at 2–2.

The decisive momentum arrived midway through the second half thanks to a moment of pure quality. Introduced from the bench, Dani Olmo unleashed a stunning strike into the top corner, a goal that lifted Hansi Flick’s side and silenced the home crowd.

Olmo had replaced Pedri, who was forced off clutching his hamstring — a sight that immediately raised alarm bells for the Barcelona bench and supporters alike.

Late in the game, Lewandowski atoned for his earlier own goal, finishing confidently after a well-weighted assist from Marcus Rashford to seal the 4–2 victory and cap a dramatic European night.
