Shakhtar's defender Dmytro Chygrynsky shared his impressions of working under the leadership of caretaker coach Darijo Srna:

- Darijo is not a new person for us at all. He knows everyone on the team and is constantly in contact with the players. He keeps a close distance with the players, so he knows our psychological state very well. First of all, it feels like everyone is working in a positive mood.

Changing a coach, as a rule, is not a very pleasant process, but now there is a psychological uplift, so I hope that we will continue to work in this mood and spirit.

Dario knows the DNA and philosophy of Shakhtar, so we work in the same vein. He supports the idea of playing fast with a lot of passes to keep everyone active and involved on the pitch. This is all familiar to us - every player who comes to Shakhtar meets these criteria, so there is nothing new - the philosophy is known to everyone. Last but not least, this is why the team is now on a psychological high.

It’s nice to work in such an atmosphere, but now we are at the stage of preparation for the games. When the matches start, the result will be important. Therefore, with such a mood you need to continue to work and train. We have tough matches ahead of us, so we must not lose this mood under any circumstances.

It won't be easy starting Saturday, so we have to keep this positive energy going. In three weeks we will play a lot of matches, there will be a lot of flights, but we need to move towards our goals.

Everyone on the team should feel like a leader, everyone should take the initiative. In difficult moments, everyone must do their part. We are all here to help each other. There is only one goal – for Shakhtar to win and move towards its goals. We do one common thing.
