Galatasaray - Dynamo Kyiv

The head coach of Turkish Galatasaray held a pre-match press conference on the eve of the clash with the Ukrainian team in the Europa League.

"Of course, this is an important and decisive match for us. Our goal is to make it into the top eight. Let's not be deceived by our opponent's current position in the Europa League. They are leading the Ukrainian championship. They haven't lost a single match in their domestic league yet."

It is worth noting that Dynamo, despite their strong position in the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL), is currently at the bottom of the Europa League standings.

"Of course, there are significant differences between the Europa League and the Ukrainian league, but they have good players. Naturally, they haven't played a competitive match for some time due to the break. However, they have been playing friendly matches. We have also been monitoring them, their players, and the system they play in. I can certainly say that our opponent is a strong team," Buruk shared his thoughts on Kyiv's Dynamo.

The Galatasaray - Dynamo match will kick off the three-day European competition schedule, with the game starting on Tuesday at 4:30 PM CET.
